Hello members of Local 799,
First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to visit my campaign page. I created this page for a few important reasons.
First, I want those who may not know me to have a chance to learn who I am. Second, I hope to show my deep commitment to our union and the strong work ethic I bring to everything I do. Most importantly, I want every member to know that I will always go the extra mile for any of my union brothers and sisters—especially when it matters most.

About Nicholas Stiglich
I’m 28 years old and was born and raised in Traverse City, Michigan. I’ve always loved the outdoors and enjoy activities like hiking, hunting, fishing, swimming—really, just about anything that gets me outside. During the summer, I play in a local recreational softball league. I also have a passion for photography, especially astrophotography. I’ve included a few of my favorite shots on this page.
I’ve been a technician in Traverse City for about three years now, and I have the privilege of working alongside my father, who has been with the company for over two decades, and my brother, who has been here for seven years.
Before joining DTE, I worked as a foreman for an outdoor company, where I handled a wide variety of tasks including building decks and patios, assembling and programming boat hoists, installing irrigation systems, and much more.
I’m engaged to my amazing fiancée, Natalie, and we share our lives with our lovable pup, Bourbon. He just turned two and has quickly become the center of attention—he’s our first dog and a wonderful addition to our growing family.
